The Charter in Action

The International Charter on Space and Major Disasters uses satellite data from member agencies to help mitigate the effects of major catastrophes on human life and property. Today the Charter, which was created in the year 2000 by the European Space Agency along with the French and Canadian Space Agencies, has ten members and several external cooperating entities. This DVD passes in review some of the most spectacular examples of application of the Charter all over the world. The duration of the PAL video is approximately 10'. The DVD contains the English, French and German versions.
