ESA GOME TCWV Climate product available online

The GOME Total Column Water Vapour (TCWV) Climate product developed within the ESA GOME-Evolution project is now accessible from the ESA data archives together with the ERS-2 GOME data. The data is made available to users via direct download from the ESA Data Dissemination Service upon Fast Registration.

Tackling drought issues for food security

This summer's drought is a harsh reminder of how unusual weather can cause havoc for farmers – even in a rich part of the world like Western Europe. While there is a wealth of satellite data available to help predict the risk of drought, it can be daunting for a non-expert to handle. ESA's Food Security Thematic Exploitation Platform (FS-TEP) makes this task much easier.

New EOX Sentinel-2 cloudless map over Europe and Northern Africa service available under OSEO

The Open Science Earth Observation (OSEO) call aims to foster scientific and applications uptake of full archives of EO data, by offering third party services which exploit state of the art ICT.

ESA is pleased to announce the opening of the new EOX Cloud Free Sentinel-2 map Service as a 3rd-party service added to the OSEO call.

TEP platforms - Planned maintenance operation

World Ocean Circulation user consultation meeting 2019

A user consultation meeting on World Ocean Circulation will take place at ESA-ESRIN in Frascati (Italy) on 21 and 22 February 2019, to prepare a roadmap for new initiatives on ocean circulation research and applications to be implemented in the ESA EO Science for Society programme element.

Abstract submission is open, until the deadline of 30 November 2018.
