OADS - OTF maintenance on 21 August 2018

Due to a scheduled maintenance, access to the ESAR OADS-OTF instance providing access to the ERS and Envisat (A)SAR data will be unavailable for 60/90 minutes, on 21 August 2018, starting from 10:00 CEST.

ATMOS 2018 - Abstract submission extended

As announced in June, the European Space Agency is organising ATMOS 2018, a conference on the topical theme Atmosphere aimed at exploiting data from ESA and EO Missions for science and application development.

We wish to inform users that the Abstract submission deadline for the Conference has been extended to 31 August 2018.

Aeolus teams ready for space

As preparations for the launch of ESA's latest Earth Explorer continue on track, the team at Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana has bid farewell to the Aeolus satellite as it was sealed from view in its Vega rocket fairing. Liftoff is set for 21 August at 21:20 GMT (23:20 CEST).
