SMOS nominal production delayed on 15 November 2017

Due to the operational deployment of the new L2SM v650 processor, SMOS nominal production will be delayed on 15 November 2017. Production is expected to be fully reestablished on 16 November.
Further information will be provided as soon as the the upgrade is completed.

The Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission has revealed that, on average, Greenland's glaciers are now flowing more slowly into the Arctic Ocean.
While glacial flow may have slowed overall, in summer glaciers flow 25% faster than they do in the winter.
