SeaSAR 2018 - Abstract submission is open

The European Space Agency is organising the 5th 'Advances in SAR Oceanography' workshop - SeaSAR 2018 - which will be hosted in ESA-ESRIN, Frascati, Italy, from 07 to 10 May 2018.

Abstracts can be submitted online until the deadline of 31 January 2018.

The workshop is part of the #EOScience4Society - Scientific Exploitation Programme element, and is open to ESA Principal Investigators, Co-investigators, Sentinel-1 users, scientists, students, representatives from national, European and international space agencies and value adding industries.

It's all go in summer for Greenland's glaciers

The Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission has revealed that, on average, Greenland's glaciers are now flowing more slowly into the Arctic Ocean.

While glacial flow may have slowed overall, in summer glaciers flow 25% faster than they do in the winter.
