CryoSat Ocean Baseline C production online
10 November 2017
Further to the news published on 02 November 2017, we inform users that the CryoSat Ocean Product Baseline C production started as planned on 07 October. The first IOP products are already populating the Science Server.
We are currently monitoring the production to iron out some minor noted shortfalls which are delaying the production of a few specific products.
The first GOP data should be produced and disseminated on approximately 6 December. The NOP products (near real time) will not be initially available.
Since new products are now available, users are recommended to download the new version of the CryoSat User Tool (V4.0.0).

In a major collaborative effort, scientists from around the world have used information from satellites to reveal that ice melting in Antarctica has not only raised sea levels by 7.6 mm since 1992, but, critically, almost half of this rise has occurred in the last five years.
This information is key to understanding how climate change is affecting the most remote part of the planet and how this has consequences for the rest of the world.
