Minimize Vilyuy River Valley

This SPOT-4 image shows the Mirny administrative district of Yakutia, Russia, acquired on 26 October 2012.

The Vilyuy river can be seen on the image and one of its right feeders - the Ochchuguy-Botuobuya river. Vilyuy is the longest inflow of the Lena River.

The Syuldyukar village is in the centre of the image - the administrative centre of the municipal district "Sadynsky National Rural Community".

Svetly village can be seen in the lower left part of the image. It was established in late 70s due to the start of the Svetlinskaya hydraulic power plant construction activities on the Vilyuy river.
