Minimize Olekma and Nyukzha Rivers

This SPOT-4 image, acquired 17 September 2012, shows the Olekma and Nyukzha rivers, running through the Tyndinsky District in Russia.

The Olekma river, the right tributary of the Lena River, runs through the territory of the Zabaikal Territory, Amur Region and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The Ust-Nyukzha village can be seen in the upper part of the image, located near the inflow of Nyukzha river into Olekma.

Also in the upper part of the image, on the right bank of the Nyukzha river one may also see a section of the Baikal-Amur highway and the Yuktali station.
