ESA's Heritage missions programme - Preserving over 40 years of historical data

For more than 30 years, ESA has acquired data from over 45 Earth observation (EO) missions. To preserve the historical data from missions that have concluded operations, ESA created a dedicated long-term data programme in 2008, which is today known as the Heritage Space Programme.
