ESA Third Party Missions dissemination - Maintenance on 24 October

<p>A planned software maintenance will affect ESA's <a href="https://tpm-ds.eo.esa.int/oads/access/collection">Third Party Missions dissemination service </a>on Tuesday 24 October 2023 from 07:30 to 08:30 UTC</p>

<p>The TPM collections will be unavailable during the activity, however the team performing the maintenance will do their best to minimise the impact to the operational service.&nbsp;</p>

In the framework of ESA’s Earthnet Third Party Missions programme, we are glad to announce that there is a new collection open for users: the GEOSAT-2 Spain Coverage collection.

A maintenance activity is scheduled for Earth Online on 30 November, from 07:30 to 15:30 UTC.

As of 29 November 2023, access to the ERS-1/2 and Envisat Radar Altimeter data will be changed from simple FTP to FTP-S.

The experimental version of SMOS Antarctic Sea ice thickness product was produced using a method to derive the sea-ice thickness from 1.4 GHz brightness temperatures previously developed for the Arctic, with only modified auxiliary data. The product is available in the cold season during the freezing period, typically March to October for the Southern Hemisphere.

The new version 206 of the merged SMOS-CryoSat level 4 sea ice thickness product is now available on the SMOS data dissemination service.
