Earth Explorers for Climate - The contribution from SMOS

18 Mar - 20 Mar 2021

Cornwall, United Kingdom

The "Earth Explorers for Climate - The contribution from SMOS" was due to take place on 18 to 20 March 2020, at the Eden Project in Cornwall, UK, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the SMOS mission. It has now been postponed indefinitely.

The objective of this symposium is to take stock of the contributions of SMOS to science and research during the last 10 years and to have an outlook and set the priorities for the next 10 years with a particular focus on climate research.

The symposium is open to scientists and engineers interested in exploring the capabilities of 10 years of SMOS data, also in synergy with other space or ground based data sources, for climate applications.
