Abstract

MERIS level 1 and level 2 data will be reprocessed mid 2005. We compare the performance of the ocean colour retrieval by MERIS, POLDER-2 and SeaWiFS, using strictly the same match-ups with the SIMBADA radiometer measurements from March to October 2003. Atmospheric correction algorithms are also compared by applying POLDER and SeaWIFS algorithms to MERIS Level 1b data. We present also new products from POLDER-3 onboard the PARASOL microsatellite succesfully launched on December 18, 2004.
