Purpose of the Workshop

The first Workshop for the EPS/MetOp Research Announcement of Opportunity (RAO), will take place at ESRIN (Frascati, Italy), from 15 May 2006 pm until 17 May 2006 am.
The aim of the Workshop, open to EPS/MetOp RAO PIs and their co-Investigators, is to present researchers with the latest information about the mission, including status of the satellite, instruments and ground segment. We are also kindly asking each PI to present an overview of the purpose and plans of their approved project, in order to create an awareness amongst the community.
