Example image derived from GOME trace gases data

The image above, produced by the Royal Dutch Meteorological Institute (KNMI), is an example of the use of trace gas measurements made by ERS-2's GOME sensor.

The image shows stratospheric and tropospheric nitrogen oxide for the month of March 1997.
