GOME Level 2 Product Sample

GOME level 2 products are provided by the European Space Agency with the GOME Data Processor developed by DLR/DFD operated at the German Processing and Archiving Facility and fully operational since July 1996. The product includes total columns of ozone and nitrogen dioxide as well as cloud information. Data are made available via ftp and on CD media (covering the time period from August 1995 until today).

The above picture has been obtained by processing one orbit of the GOME sensor raw data.

Ozone is measured in Dobson units (see our Glossary).
