The
PSIC4 Final Presentation and PSI Validation Workshop Report is
available.
The document contains the outcomes of the round table and the
collected contributions. In addition, in the Appendix
of this document are addressed two specific issues of the PSIC4 results, which
were particularly questioned during the round table.
PSIC4 Final Presentation and PSI Validation Workshop
18 - 19 September 2006 The validation phase of PSIC4 is
nearing completion and a Final Presentation has been arranged, to be held at
ESRIN, Frascati, Italy, on Monday 18 September, beginning at 1:00pm. The Final
Presentation will be followed on Tuesday 19 September by a one-day PSI
Validation Workshop, also at ESRIN, devoted to invited presentations of other
PSI validation experiments, a short summary of the PSIC4 results and a round
table discussion on the lessons learned from PSI validation experiments.

Advances in SAR Interferometry
from ENVISAT and ERS missions 28 November - 2 December
2005 The fourth International Workshop on ERS SAR interferometry - the
second on Envisat ASAR Interferometry - Advances in SAR Interferometry from
ENVISAT and ERS missions was organised by the European Space Agency and held in
ESA ESRIN in Frascati, Italy between 28th of November and 2nd of December 2005.
The workshop was attended by ESA Principal Investigators and co-investigators,
scientists and students working in the field of SAR interferometry and its
applications, and representatives from national, European and international
space agencies and Value Adding Industry.
A dedicated session showcased
preliminary results from the PSIC4 project.
First results delivered to validation
consortium 31 July 2005 As the processing deadline for
Phase I contractors passed, ESA delivered the first batch of results to the
Phase II validation consortium.
Phase II kicked off 10 June
2005 Today the validation phase of PSIC4 formally started. The consortium of geological survey
organisations and universities will begin work on the validation
and cross-comparison activites as soon as deliverables from the Phase I
contractors are received.
First results received 2 June
2005 Today ESA received the first set of final results from a Phase I
contractor.
Data stack complete 7 May
2005 The last image in the PSIC4 data stack has been acquired by the
ASAR instrument onboard Envisat. The complete dataset contains 117 images
spanning 13 years.
All contracts kicked off 25 January
2005 Today the last Phase I contractor formally began work to process
the PSIC4 data stack.
