ERS-2 track of the 3 August

Notec and Warta river (Poland)

In this image the dark tones indicate probable flooding of the area along the Notec river (center of the image). Further South is the town of Pila and west, the small town of Wielen are visible as bright points on the river.
Between the Warta and Oder river (Poland)

The town of Poznan is located at the upper right corner of this image, along the Warta river (the river crosses the town and goes to the right image border). In the lower right part of the image the Oder river shows many black areas along its course, which are most probably flooded areas.

From the Oder river to the Czech rep. State boundary

The border between the two states corresponds to the morphological slope variation visible at the bottom of the image.

Warning: the frames displayed above were made with unprecised starting time, so some shift could take place respect the standard frames.
