Italy Earthquake, April 2009
Italy earthquake (L’Aquila, April 2009): ESA dataset package
ESA makes freely available to the scientific community a dataset of SAR products
(Envisat and ERS) corresponding to the earthquake of L’Aquila (Italy) which took
place on 6 April 2009. The ESA package also includes data from Third Party
missions, in particular Japanese ALOS data.
This action aims to promote SAR data particularly for use in seismology and to
highlight the value of the SAR data archive collected over seismic areas.
1. Users interested by the dataset package can download as indicated below, or
alternatively contact the
ESA Earth Observation Help Desk
(eohelp@esa.int)
2. In return, users are kindly requested to acknowledge the ESA SAR dataset
(Italy earthquake April 2009) in publications. "Users' reports can also be sent
directly to the ESA Earth Observation PI team at
eopi@esa.int."
The Earth Observation PI web site (http://eopi.esa.int)
includes results obtained by different teams having exploited the ESA dataset.
