The Campania Region is full of old archaeological sites, among which: Pompei, Herculaneum. Paestum, the Phlegrean Fields.
To the centre: Naples, with the Phlegrean Fields to the left
Bottom left: Ischia island, also dominated by a volcano, Mount Epomeo, totally quiescent.
Bottom right: Capri island, that contains relics of prehistoric ages and several remains dating from Roman times.
