The Swarm DISC pre-study 5.2 is finalised and the report has been published.

In this project, the possibility of using the space-based (CHAMP, GRACE and Swarm) along-track Thermospheric Neutral Density (TND) estimates for generating the European Space Agency (ESA)'s Level 3 (L3) global multi-level TND data products is assessed. The report focuses on seven periods with large geomagnetic activity, where available models have difficulties to perform well. The global and along track TND data sets of the study period is available via request to the Swarm DISC team.
