ESA is pleased to announce the ALOS PALSAR IPY Antarctica dataset is now available to the scientific community through an improved service: it is possible to easily select and download the products from an online map of Antarctica.

The dataset is made by full resolution ALOS PALSAR ScanSAR WB1 products (Level L1.5, 100m spatial resolution, 250-350Km swath) acquired over Antarctica from July 2008 to March 2010, as a follow up of International Polar Year initiative.

The dataset is accessible after registration and verification of user identity.
