This wide-swath radar multi composite image displays Ireland. The topography of the island are lowlands interspersed between a complex system of low mountain ranges. Among the principal ranges shown in the image are the Mourne Mountains in the northeast, the mountains of Donegal in the north, Maumturk Mountains in the west, and the Wicklow Mountains in the east. The capitals of Belfast in the northeast (Northern Ireland) and Dublin (the Republic of Ireland) in the southeast are visible as large bright white areas. Also in Northern Ireland we can see Lough Neagh. The image is made of three ASAR images acquired on different dates and assigning a colour ( RGB ) to each date ( Red : 29 December 2003, Green : 24 March 2003, Blue : 7 July 2003).
