Abstract

The presentation will contain an overview of the results of an ESA study on applications of synthetic aperture radar polarimtry. In particular, results will be presented on methods and accuracies for agriculture and land-cover classification using polarimetric SAR, methods and accuracies for sea ice classification using polarimetric SAR, and methods and accuracies for retrieval of vegetation parameters from polarimetric interferometry.
