AATSR Instrument Performance and Prospects for Continued Operations

The AATSR instrument has been operationional since March 2002 and has passed its 5 year design life without major incident or significant degradation of the radiometric accuracy. This paper describes the performance of the instrument to date and assesses the prospects for continued operations up to 2012 and beyond.
