The Level 0-to-1 GOME Data Processor (GDP_01) has been the operational processor for ESA's GOME Level 0-to-1 data product, since the ERS-2 launch in 1995. This poster describes GDP_01 version 4 with main algorithm improvements in spectral calibration and dark signal correction. The format of the GOME Level 1 product has changed, with the addition of bottom-of-atmosphere angles calculated with the ERS-2 orbit propagator, and cloud properties (cloud fraction, cloud-top height/pressure, cloud-top albedo, cloud optical thickness) retrieved with the OCRA/ROCINN algorithms. Improvements have also been made in the correction for instrument degradation, which is an option in the GDP "extraction" software.

The whole GOME Level 0-to-1 data set has now been reprocessed with version 4 of GDP_01 and it is available to the users.
